KNOCKANDO 12 YEAR OLD
In each bottle you will only ever find the produce of one single Season – a practice which continues to distinguish Knockando from almost all other single malts.
Especially delicate, fruity and subtle Speyside: Smooth but complex layers of flowery, nutty and slightly smoky notes.

APPEARANCE
Pale amber.
NOSE
Fruity-floral with a hint of blackcurrant. Some ash, then a trace of damp linen. Water brings up cereal notes and meaty aromas. Develops towards scorched paper.
BODY
Light
PALATE
Light mouthfeel, pleasantly sweet, central palate. Drying lightly with a trace of acidity.
FINISH
Relatively short. Clean and easy to drink.
KNOCKANDO 18 YEAR OLD
Matured slowly in sherry casks, it's accessible in both aroma and flavour; easy to drink, young at heart for an 18 year old.

APPEARANCE
Pale amber.
NOSE
Simple and attractive. Deep, rich fruit; ripe plums, tinned pears, tinned mandarin oranges. Soft vanilla fudge. With water, still fruity but more acidic. A trace of caramelised brown sugar. Digestive biscuits.
BODY
Mouth filling.
PALATE
Pleasant to drink straight - sweet, with deeper almond notes, hints of sherry and light oak, some malty flavours. With a little water (not too much) still sweet and mouth-filling; some digestive biscuits.
FINISH
Medium length. Warm and smooth.
KNOCKANDO 21 YEAR OLD
Warming, fruity nose then smooth and rich-bodied with hints of oak and nuts on the palate and in the intense, peaty finish.

43% ABV
APPEARANCE
Full honey.
NOSE
Warming, complex and fruity with vanilla notes and oak tones.
BODY
Mellow and intense.
PALATE
Soft, smooth and very rich. Oak and almond notes with a hint of strawberry and velvety fruit.
FINISH
Intense, with a hint of oak, lightly fruity and peaty.
