Accessibility at Dalwhinnie

We’re pleased to have consulted Euan’s guide to ensure that we provide disabled access information upfront to give all our visitors the confidence to visit our distillery and enjoy the experience. To help plan your visit, we’ve included an overview of our facilities and what to expect. Please do let us know if you have any specific requirements at the time of your booking and a member of staff will be in touch.

ACCESSIBLE PARKING:

We have disabled parking spaces in our main carpark, closest to the main entrance. There is a small step approximately an inch high at our main entrance.

ACCESSIBLE AREAS:

Our warehouse, bar and tasting room are accessible areas. Unfortunately, due to the layout of the historic distillery it is not entirely accessible throughout our tours and we do not have a lift. We have adapted our tours so those with accessibility requirements don’t miss out. When entering the accessible lower vestibule of the distillery, your guide will talk through our history, the production process before you return to the group to visit the warehouse, retail and tasting area for a tutored tasting. Our guides are happy to tell you all about our distilling process and the history of Dalwhinnie while you enjoy whisky tastings paired with chocolates in our bar area.

ACCESSIBLE TOILETS:

An accessible toilet is available. Our facilities include red cords and handrails. Unfortunately, we do not have accessible changing facilities.
