The perfect

With its fruit cake, almonds and tropical fruit flavours, this 15 Year Old Cardhu shines best when served neat.

The delicate sharpness of these highland strawberry chocolate truffles pairs perfectly with Cardhu’s soft, intensely fruity quality.

The Hot Toddy has a long history of warming cockles. And the generous nature of Cardhu is the ideal choice, offering sweet apple and heather notes along with a warming, dryish finish.

Cardhu 15 Years Old On The Flavour Map
Taste the character and craft in every drop.

Smoky Rich Delicate Light

A secretive Speyside expression.

Deep old gold.

Slow to give of its secrets, with mere hints of a fruity richness and spicy complexity to come.

Light on the palate, with a medium body.

Slow to venture forth and quite viscous straight. Cooling, then peppery and slightly charred.

Smooth, light and slightly drying, with attractive bitter chocolate notes.

Distillery: CardhuTM

Age: 15 years old

Strength: 40% ABV

Place of Origin: Cardow

Region: Speyside

in brief… An elegant Cardhu that takes time to reveal its delicate, fruity and rich character, repaying careful contemplation.

in a sentence… Delicate tropical fruits and light fruit cake please, while drier notes of oak and charred flavours are offset by malty sweetness, spiciness and a suggestion of smoke, in what is revealed to be a richer character than you first imagine.

Slow to give of its secrets, with mere hints of a fruity richness and spicy complexity to come. A swirl of the glass releases enticing, clean vanilla notes and tropical fruit. Soon, the fruits are dried (light fruit cake with flaked almonds). Adding water brings out typical Speyside character, and makes the nose slightly more acidic. Late on, at last, greater depth and complexity: sweet, spicy and rich, finishing with dense toffee and toasted coconut.

Slow to venture forth and quite viscous straight. Cooling, then peppery and lightly charred. Growing richer, still sweet, but now with toffee and chocolate; burnt sugar on a Crème Brûlée. With water, less viscous and sweeter with almost no acidity; very pleasant and easy to drink.

Smooth, light and slightly drying, with attractive bitter chocolate notes. Not over long, with a hint of faint smoke at the end.

Don't just take our word for it...
