Nose

Rich peat smoke and spicy wood come quickly to the fore, backed by the sweet opulence of soft, ripe fruit: bananas, pears, plums.

Body

Medium bodied full and rich, with good legs.

Palate

An immediate, mouth-filling sweetness balanced by an attractive smoky-malty dryness, with sea salt centre stage. A splash of water softens the spicy edges and rounds the whole.

Finish

Long, smooth and sweet, becoming oaky-dry with slivers of dark chocolate and salted caramel.
