From one of the smallest and oldest distilleries in Scotland comes a classic aperitif of a Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Fuller and bigger than the 14 year old, but still characteristically delicate.
An appetisingly acidic nose – acid drops, lemon juice, ozone – with a hint of char behind and vague beach smells. With water it becomes more perfumed, artificial floral scents, air freshener. Clean, fresh and breezy.
Pleasant mouth feel. Acidity dominates.
Fresh and slightly spritz: traces of peach and acid drops. This fades gently as it develops, but a delicate lavender-like perfume remains.
Medium length, with a trace of char in the aftertaste.
