From twenty year-old sherry casks comes a much richer Talisker than fans will recognise, but with all the same characteristics of the fearless island distillery.
Deep amber, almost walnut. Moderate beading.
Dense, rich overall with traces of smokiness, bitter chocolate and Highland toffee. With water, more maritime and wood aromas surface, while the richness remains.
Full-bodied, rich, chewy and powerful.
Very big and sweet at first, with a rich texture that dries gently. A richly layered, complex malt that will please even the most demanding palate. Luscious; not as smoky as some examples.
Long and clean. Talisker’s trademark pepperiness sings through in a very big, firm and warming finale.
