Rich, sweetly fruity and scented malt with good balance. A fine example of what used to be called the Highland style – a Single Malt Scotch Whisky that makes any occasion special.
A taste of Speyside sophistication.
Full gold in colour.
Rich, spicy fruit (think plums in syrup, preserved lemons) and sweet nuttiness (pecans). A scented, waxy note too, with light smoke, like Darjeeling tea. Water brings up the scented sweetness, without changing the nose overall.
Light to medium bodied.
Rich, sweet and lightly spiced with a floral lift. Light citrus acidity, drying to ginger.
Lightly nutty at first, then lemon returns.
