How do I use the digital experience? / how will the digital experience be fulfilled?
You simply need to go to https://experience.malts.com on a latest version of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge browser on your laptop or tablet. The website will step you through connecting your mobile devices to get your experience started. All participants will need to have or sign up to a Malts Club account to save their progress throughout the experience.
How is this different from other blind tasting?
The Single Malt Special Releases 2024 Tasting Experience allows you to host a night-in you'll never forget with a multi-sensory whisky experience. It is a blind tasting of four of the Special Releases 2024, enhanced with interactive digital content and experiential elements - allowing you to discover more about the people and places behind these unique whiskies.
At the end of the blind tasting, all participants will also get a whisky flavour profile, to compare and share.
The link is broken what do I do?
If the experience drops on any participants mobile, they just need to click the “help & troubleshooting” button on the upper left-hand side of the page to display a reconnection code. You will need to scan this code to re-join the group’s session.

Which brands do I get with the box?
You'll get to blind-taste 4 of the 8 Single Malt Scotch Whiskies from the Special Releases 2024 Collection. Each of these single malt scotch whiskies will be revealed and explored as part of the tasting process.
Can I buy the bottles separately?
Yes, full size versions of the whiskies you get to try are available for purchase on Malts.com.
Do I need to sign up to buy the experience?
Yes, the Single Malt Special Releases 2024 Tasting Experience is exclusive to purchase for Malts Club members. Signing up is easy - simply visit https://www.malts.com/en-gb/club and click “create an account” to join.
Do I need Wi-Fi / an internet connection?
Yes, you will need a good internet connection on your laptop or tablet and each participant’s smartphone to engage with the interactive content in the experience.
Do I need a certain type of phone ?
You need an internet enabled smartphone (iOS or Android) running Chrome, or Safari. The experience has been tested on the latest iPhones (on iOS 16 or newer) and Samsung Galaxy phones (Android 13).
How many can join in?
The experience is for a minimum of two and maximum of four people at home.
How long does it take to do?
The experience will depend on how long your group takes to do the tasting and interact with the content. Generally it takes about 45-60 minutes to go through the full experience.
Is this a limited release?
Yes, this is a limited initial release of 170 units.
Where can I purchase this product?
This product is exclusively available online for Malts Club Members and also available for purchase offline at The Bar At Home store in London.
