Cardhu, Caol Ila, Clynelish and Glenkinchie are four corners of Scotland that contribute to Johnnie Walker. Once matured, the malts are blended by expert artisans before being bottled and shipped.

Visit the Experience
The Johnnie Walker Experience is found in the heart of Edinburgh on Princes Street, in the shadow of the city’s iconic castle. After enjoying the 90-minute experience that reveals the blend’s heritage, visitors can head up to the rooftop bar with sweeping views.
Tasting sessions can be catered to your tastes and level of knowledge, and cocktail-focussed sessions are also available.

Johnnie Walker is proudly Scottish. Although it originated in Kilmarnock, today malts from all four corners of Scotland come together to create this unmistakable blend.
John Walker began blending whisky in his Kilmarnock grocery shop in 1820 to make some extra money after his father died and the family farm was sold. After he perfected his formulas his whisky gained popularity, and the rest is history.
Johnnie Walker is more than 200 years old, originally named Walker’s Kilmarnock Whisky, it gained the Johnnie Walker name in 1909.
Because it’s made in Scotland, Johnnie Walker is a blended Scotch Whisky.
Johnnie Walker is a blend that brings together malts and grains from more than 30 distilleries across Scotland. Our master blenders then bring it all together before bottles ship around the world.
The core range has six, permanent labels including Red, Black, Double Black, Green, Gold Reserve and Blue. Alongside the staples, there have also been numerous limited and special editions throughout the years.
