Discover Cragganmore

Big John Smith, one of the most experienced distillers of his day, founded the Cragganmore Distillery in 1869.

Its location was chosen to be close to the Strathspey Railway Line, which ran between Speyside and Dufftown and was known as The Whisky Line. Thanks to Big John’s business acumen and a superior single malt whisky, the name endures to this day.

Its flavour is celebrated as a complex, perfectly balanced blend of sweet floral fragrances, riverside herbs, honey, and vanilla with a hint of smokiness.

One of the world’s most famous and influential Scotch whisky authors – the late Michael James Jackson – claimed Cragganmore whisky had ‘the most complex aroma of any malt.
