An unforgettable experience of drawing Talisker whisky straight from the cask and hearing the stories of the craft, passion and history that make Talisker so special.
This incredible experience will take you on a journey of flavour and discovery with a tutored tasting of five unique whiskies, drawn directly from the cask. These casks reflect the journey of our whisky makers, who have tried things in the past that have inspired releases of Talisker, or are trying something new that’s yet to see light of day. This experience is an opportunity to share some of this journey with you, to be one of the few who get to try a scotch whisky that’s on a journey of its own, the destination perhaps yet to be determined.
The casks selected for this experience range in age from 12 years old to 29 years old and include refill hogsheads as well as casks previously filled with Wine, Port and PX Sherry.
Please note that this experience focusses on the maturation and tasting experience with a short tour of the distillery. This experience is open only to adults aged 18 years old and over. Only ticket holders are able to join this experience.

The distillery sits on the shores of Loch Harport, around a 45-minute drive from Portree and roughly three hours west of Inverness.
The island is connected to mainland Scotland via the Skye Bridge, and the distillery is accessible via the A87 and the Isle of Skye road network. Roads on Skye can include narrow single-track sections, so visitors should allow extra travel time. Parking is available on-site. A local bus stop is located a short walk from the distillery, though services may be limited.

Über einen Zeitraum von drei Jahren (2025–2028) investieren wir 600.000 £ zur Unterstützung von Projekten zur Wiederansiedlung einheimischer Austern und Seegraswiesen im Loch Craignish und im Loch Harport – genau jene Gewässer, in denen die Talisker-Brennerei seit Generationen beheimatet ist und die dazu beitragen, die Voraussetzungen für die Erholung des Meereslebens und der Artenvielfalt zu schaffen ODER dazu beitragen, die Voraussetzungen für die Erholung des Meereslebens und der Artenvielfalt im nächsten Jahrzehnt und darüber hinaus zu schaffen, während gleichzeitig diese Seen für zukünftige Generationen geschützt werden.
Talisker aims to make its visitor experiences accessible wherever possible. The Brand Home visitor building, which includes the bar, shop, and tasting experiences, is located on one level and offers step-free access. Accessible toilets are available on-site, and five designated accessible parking spaces are located close to the entrance with step-free routes into the building.
Areas of the working distillery are located on multiple floors and may have limited accessibility due to the historic layout of the building. Visitors with specific accessibility requirements are encouraged to contact the distillery ahead of their visit to ensure the best possible experience.
Guests planning to visit with a dog are advised to check current policies with the distillery before arrival.
