One of the most extraordinary maturations from The Singleton, first kept in refill wood, before double-maturing in two small ex-Madeira barriques for another fourteen years. A part of a one-off trial at Singleton, a sweet richness complements the light and elegant distillery character. The Prima & Ultima 2nd Release has been personally hand-selected by Master of Malts Maureen Robinson; “I think this is one of the most extraordinary mature Singletons we have ever created. It is a real privilege to be able to enjoy its riches now. Though with a mere 350 bottles or so, only the fortunate will be able to.”

Aroma
Fresh and lively, the mild nose rests gentle citrus notes of sweet mandarin orange on a bed of sweet toffee and cut grass.
Körper
Full Bodied.
Geschmack
Rich and creamy in texture, the taste is immediately very sweet, fruity and intense with juicy orange fruit.
Abgang
A growing savoury-spicy warmth then covers the palate, seeming to fizz in its desire to please. It is creamy in the development and has a long, drying finish.
