Brora Distillery & Visitor Centre

Located in the coastal village of Brora in the Scottish Highlands, Brora Distillery is one of Scotland’s most celebrated whisky distilleries. Founded in 1819, the distillery closed in 1983 before being carefully restored and reopened in 2021 following major restoration.

Today, Brora produces rare Highland single malt Scotch whisky known for its distinctive waxy texture, lightly peated character and coastal influence. With its remarkable revival story and limited production, Brora has become one of the whisky world’s most sought-after names. Visitors are invited to explore the distillery through premium, small-group experiences.

Is Brora Distillery open to visitors?

Do you have to book online?

Yes. All experiences at Brora Distillery must be booked in advance through the online booking system. Early booking is strongly recommended due to limited availability.
