From Port Ellen on the Isle of Islay.
Fresh, minty; hints of petrol and seaweed, with some medicinal, oily notes and even a touch of coal dust!
Lightly oily and clinging.
Delicately smoky to start, growing all the time; sweetness and garden mint on the mid-palate, cereal grain.
Sweet. Lightly smoky. Seaweed and salt. Eventually, the salt dominates. Very long. Very late spicy intensity.
