The distillery sits on the shores of Loch Harport, around a 45-minute drive from Portree and roughly three hours west of Inverness.
The island is connected to mainland Scotland via the Skye Bridge, and the distillery is accessible via the A87 and the Isle of Skye road network. A local bus stop is located a short walk from the distillery, though services may be limited.
Talisker aims to make its visitor experiences accessible wherever possible. The Brand Home visitor building, which includes the bar, shop, and tasting experiences, is located on one level and offers step-free access. Accessible toilets are available on-site, and five designated accessible parking spaces are located close to the entrance with step-free routes into the building.
Areas of the working distillery are located on multiple floors and may have limited accessibility due to the historic layout of the building. Visitors with specific accessibility requirements are encouraged to contact the distillery ahead of their visit to ensure the best possible experience.
Guests planning to visit with a dog are advised to check current policies with the distillery before arrival.
