Clynelish

Discover Clynelish
The original Clynelish distillery was founded in 1819 by The Marquis of Stafford. Since it reopened after redevelopment in 2021, around 4.8-million litres of malt are created on-site each year.
Clynelish’s single malt whisky is known for its vibrant nose and long finish. Its flavour is often compared more to Island-style whiskies, thanks to its floral, sweet notes.
Clynelish Distillery Production
Today’s modern distillery includes a huge mash tun and ten fermentation washbacks, that were installed as part of an extensive restoration project. As a result of its expertly crafted flavour, Clynelish is one of the main ingredients of Johnnie Walker’s blend.
