Cardhu
Discover Cardhu
Cardhu has come a long way since its founding as a cottage business in 1811.
Its founders were John and Helen Cummings, who was affectionately known as ‘The First Woman of Whisky’. Later their daughter-in-law Elizabeth trademarked the Cardhu name, built a new distillery, and put the single malt well on its way to legendary status.
Cardhu is known for its distinctive notes of orchard pear, apple, and honey with a hint of spicy wood and traces of smoke.

Visit the Distillery
Cardhu offers a range of guided experiences that bring its remarkable history to life while revealing the processes behind its unique flavour. And speaking of flavour, there’s also tasting sessions so you can enjoy the finished product for yourself.
