LAGAVULIN COCKTAIL RECIPES

Lagavulin Spicy Margarita

• 50ml Lagavulin 16YO

• 20ml Lime

• 20ml Jalapeno Agave Syrup (see next recipe)

Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake for 8-10 seconds. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.

Jalapeno Agave Syrup for Lagavulin Spicy Margarita

• 600ml Agave syrup

• 150ml hot water

• 3-6 Jalapenos depending on the desired spice level

Add 150ml hot water to agave syrup and stir until combined. Add jalapenos and agave mix to a blender and blend on high for 1 minute. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve pressing on the solids to squeeze out as much liquid as possible. Store in refrigerator for 7-10 days.

The Smokey Cokey

• 45ml Lagavulin 8YO

• Cola soda

Fill highball glass with ice, add Lagavulin and top with cola soda.​

Smoky Sweet Old Fashioned

• 40ml Lagavulin 11YO Sweet Peat

• 10ml Allspice dram

• 2 dashes orange Bitters

• Expressed orange peel

• Orange spiral to garnish

• Large ice cube

Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice. Stir gently for ten seconds to chill and dilute. Strain into a rocks glass over a single large ice cube. Express an orange peel over the drink and add the orange spiral to garnish.

Sweet Peat Tea

• 50ml Lagavulin 11YO Sweet Peat

• 10ml Honey-ginger syrup

• 10ml strong black tea (cold)

• 1 Dash walnut bitters

• Lemon spiral to garnish

• Bar ice

Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake gently to chill and aerate. Strain into a coupe. Add a lemon spiral to garnish.

Mr Lyan's Meadow Old Fashioned

• 50ml Lagavulin 16 Year Old

• 10ml Nettle and primrose blossom honey syrup

• 2 dashes Orange bitters

• Lemon verbena sprig

• Ice

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass filled with with cubed ice and stir down well until very cold. Strain into a chilled rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a lemon verbena sprig

Islay Daquiri

• 45ml Lagavulin 11YO Offerman

• 30ml Lime Juice

• 15ml Simple Syrup

Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker with ice and shake until chilled. Double strain into chilled coupe glass​.

Spirit of Fall

• 40ml Lagavulin 11YO Offerman Edition Charred Oak Cask

• 10ml Ginger syrup

• 10ml Yuzu juice

• 10ml St-Germain

• Soda water

Place Lagavulin, ginger syrup, yuzu and St. Germain in a shaker and shake with ice. Strain into a highball glass and top up with soda water.

Caribbean Mermaid

• 25ml Lagavulin 16YO

• 25ml Pineapple Juice

• 25ml Apricot Liqueur

• Orange Juice (adjust to taste)

Add all ingredients into cocktail shaker with ice and shake. Strain into highball glass and garnish with orange.​
